We look forward to receiving your resume and motivation letter.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide deep technical guidance to help researchers and engineers get the most out of their Zurich Instruments systems, from first evaluation through to running their experiments
  • Deliver hands-on, application-specific support, including on-site system integration
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the scientists and engineers you support, accompanying them throughout their projects
  • Present at conferences and trade shows, and visit research groups across Japan

  • Work closely with our global team to shape Zurich Instruments' technical approach in Japan

Your profile

  • A PhD or Master's in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, backed by a strong experimental research record
  • Solid hands-on lab experience, ideally including RF/microwave signal generation and measurement
  • Programming experience with scientific instrumentation, preferably in Python
  • A genuine interest in working at the interface of science and industry, and the confidence to engage directly with researchers, even if you haven't held a customer-facing role before
  • Curiosity and a real willingness to learn: no prior quantum experience needed, as we'll train you
  • Very good communication skills in English; Japanese is a plus
