New Customers Welcome the UHFLI

Interest in 600 MHz lock-in amplifier surpasses expectations

Following the recent launch of the UHFLI 600 MHz lock-in amplifier, Zurich Instruments is happy to report that the level of interest from new and existing customers has been a welcome surprise. With the first batch of orders already in place, the production schedule is being ramped up to meet the demands of customers who have never before had access to such an advanced instrument.

According to Stephan Koch, VP of Marketing & Sales, "We expected our existing customers to see the benefits of the UHFLI, and how it would open up new horizons in their research, but we are now receiving enquiries from customers who previously had no option but to build their own instrument or simply accept the inadequate products already available in the market".

Zurich Instruments has introduced its new 600 MHz lock-in amplifier in February 2012. Combining the smallest time constant with the highest demodulation frequency commercially available and building on the unique features of the HF2LI 50 MHz lock-in amplifier, such as six parallel demodulators, it looks like the UHFLI will be seen as the new benchmark in lock-in performance and functionality.

Zurich Instruments makes lock-in amplifiers, phase-locked loops, and impedance spectroscopes that have revolutionized instrumentation in the high-frequency (HF) and ultra-high-frequency (UHF) ranges by combining frequency-domain tools and time-domain tools within each product. This reduces the complexity of laboratory setups, removes sources of problems and provides new measurement approaches that support the progress of research.
