New Collaboration with ZHAW

CTI project builds on distributed systems expertise

July 1st 2013 saw the launch of a new CTI project between ZHAW (Zürcher Hochshule für Angewandte Wissenschaften) and Zurich Instruments entitled "Distributed measurement system for high-performance impedance analyzers within high-bandwidth local area networks"

CTI is Switzerland's innovation promotion agency, supporting the transfer of knowledge and technology between higher education institutions and industry via market-oriented R&D projects. It also supports start-up companies with business advice and access to funding, something which Zurich Instruments itself benefitted from in its intial phase.

ZHAW is one of Switzerland's leading universities of applied sciences. It is based on three campuses in the Greater Zürich area and can trace its origins back to 1874, when its original school of engineering was founded. Today over 10,000 students are engaged across eight Schools covering a broad range of subjects.
