The Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering (D-BSSE) of ETH Zurich is combining biological, engineering and computational approaches to analyze complex bio-molecular networks. ZI appreciates the support in infrastructure.

CTI supports ZI with business and legal consulting and assistance in raising venture capital. In October 2008, Zurich Instruments received the CTI Start-up label.

The "eidgenössische Stiftung zur Förderung schweizerischer Volkswirtschaft durch wissenschaftliche Forschung" supports start-up entrepreneurs in transferring innovative ideas to the markets. The Volkswirtschaftsstiftung supported ZI with seed money.

VentureKick is a business competition in Switzerland. ZI received generous seed money from the VentureKick.

The De Vigier Foundation supports young promising companies. The foundation generously provided seed money and training.

ZI's main office is located in the Technopark Zurich. The Technopark Foundation provides a fertile environment for young companies.
